I have loved art all of my life. I
have a degree in art, and studied in the US and Italy. I began in
metalsmithing and jewelry design in college. I have always tried
to improve my art and skills and be open to new adventures.
Art can magically take you on a different path with the slightest
inspiration. I had a strong desire to paint portraits, so I did
and loved it! It is such a challenge to capture the essence of
the person or animal and bring them alive on paper. It is so
rewarding to make someone happy with something that you have captured
or created. That's why it was such a natural
transition from portrait painting to sculpting in the doll world.
I have chosen an
area of art that I can work from home and not have to leave my son
Wesley. He
is four years old and can't walk. Several doctors said that he
would never walk! My husband and I have devoted ourselves to
doing everything we can to get him walking. It has been such a
struggle for all of us but it's paying off. Wesley can now pull
up and walk quite a distance just holding onto one of our fingers. This
has been such a great accomplishment for all of us. Thank you for
looking and please let me know if you have any questions for me.
**** I have to
add an update about Wesley. He started walking independently two
months before his fifth Birthday!!!!!!!!!! He walks
everywhere, climbs on everything and is doing really great.
Thanks for visiting . Best wishes and big dolly hugs,
